In short, we are looking for someone who has a background and technical experience in implementing business solutions with Office 365 cloud software including SharePoint online. Technical knowledge in MS cloud offerings like PowerBI, Teams, Planner, Zapier/Flow would be highly regarded for this role. We don't need someone with advanced coding skills or even someone with engineering/infrastructure knowledge, more so someone who can understand business problems and technically implement solutions through these out-of-the-box offerings. If customisation needs to be done coders are available to handle that side of it. Where my client needs you is to interface with the client and the technology and drive the technical solution, including some training and support after implementation. Strong technical skills are required, you don't have to be a developer though.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills from previous corporate experience:

  • A good understanding of Sharepoint and/or related cloud products
  • A strong hands on technical ability to understand and implement MS Cloud apps as part of the Office 365 and Azure suite
  • Experience in development, maintenance and support of key business applications
  • Strong business process awareness and the ability to understand business problems and craft solutions for them
  • SharePoint, PowerBI, Teams, Planner, Zapier/Flow, CRM, intranet and document management analyst experience
  • Strong technology skills in Excel, Outlook, Word, Skype for Business, OneNote, OneDrive
  • Ability to research and assess commercial options for solutions
  • Help preparing project scoping deliverables

In this role you will be working autonomously and directly with clients and will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, provide documentation and implementation deliverables and engage with everyone at all levels of the client. Business analysis skills are not required specifically but you will need to be business savvy and competent in understanding business problems when presented to you.

  • SharePoint and Microsoft Cloud experience
