Born into Business
Business has been in my DNA from the start. Growing up with a father who was a corporate leader, I learned early on how strategic thinking and communication drive success. At just 12 years old, I crafted my first business case—convincing my dad to fund a $50 computer memory upgrade by outlining its benefits to our family. That formative moment sparked a lifelong passion for technology and business, shaping me into an active listener, problem solver, and someone who adds substance to every conversation.
From Tech Nerd to Business Nerd
At 17, I launched my first business, Lindentech, growing it from a one-person operation into a thriving IT services provider with 10 employees. The company’s success was built on a commitment to technical mastery and client trust. By the time I sold the business in 2009, it was generating over $1.2 million in annual revenue.
Clients valued my ability to solve problems and deliver tangible results—not empty sales pitches. This principle of “substance over salesmanship” continues to guide everything I do today.

After years of growing Lindentech and understanding the critical role the right people play in driving technology success, I founded Transparency IT to bring that insight into the recruitment space. Unlike much of the recruitment industry, which often prioritizes sales over substance, my focus is on truly understanding the roles I’m recruiting for and the impact those roles have on a business.
Father of 3, Husband of 1
Happily married to Janelle since 2003, I’m proud of the life we’ve built together. Janelle is an overachiever—a law student, part-time law firm employee, and an amazing mum to our teenage children, Iris and twins Enya and Elijah. Balancing family, business, and my love for learning keeps me grounded and focused on what matters most: transparency, solving problems through innovation, and service to others.
