Systems Engineer
If you’ve spent a few years juggling firewalls, fine-tuning virtual servers, and deciphering DNS errors, you already know the drill. This isn’t about ticking boxes or babysitting outdated systems. It’s about being the person who clients trust to keep their IT foundations rock solid.
What You’ll Own:
- The Client Relationship: You’ll be the one clients call when things go wrong—or when they want to make things better. You’ll talk them through the technical jargon, set realistic expectations, and deliver results that make them glad they chose us.
- Their IT Landscape: You’ll take full ownership of your clients’ environments. That means understanding their infrastructure, workflows, and business processes better than they do. You’ll document it all and keep it updated—because shortcuts lead to chaos.
- Issues That Won’t Stay Solved: Troubleshooting is fine, but recurring problems? That’s where you shine. You’ll track down root causes, implement lasting fixes.
- Proactive Support: This isn’t a “wait for the ticket to come in” kind of role. You’ll be monitoring systems, identifying risks, and implementing improvements before clients even know they’re needed.
What You Bring:
- Technical Depth: You know your way around Windows OS, M365, Active Directory, and basic networking. You’re no stranger to virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) or automation tools like PowerShell. If you’ve worked with RDS, Citrix, or Azure Virtual Desktop, you’re already speaking our language.
- Problem-Solving Credibility: You don’t just fix issues; you dissect them, understand them, and make sure they don’t happen twice.
- Exposure to Client Management: You know how to keep clients onside—explaining the tech without dumbing it down and delivering on what you promise.
- Team Focus: Whether it’s helping a junior colleague get up to speed or backing up the Technical Account Manager, you’re all about collective success.
Why You’ll Want to Stick Around:
This role gives you space to own your work. You’ll be trusted to make decisions, build meaningful client relationships, and have the support you need to grow technically and professionally.
We’re not just looking for someone to fill a seat. We want someone who’s ready to take their skills and experience to the next level—and help us do the same.
