Senior Network Engineer

  • Location Bibra Lake, WA
  • Salary A$120k/year - 160k/year
  • Job Type Full Time
  • Posted July 15, 2024

Let’s get you back to real engineering. You’re good at what you do. Now it’s time to take the next step.

If you prefer configuring networks over answering tickets, this is the role for you. You’re comfortable with designing and implementing solutions, but you want to move beyond just building things—you want to shape how networks are designed at an enterprise level.

This role is your bridge to becoming a Network Architect. You’ll still be hands-on, delivering major networking projects for enterprise and government clients. But, you’ll also start stepping into the solution design space—working alongside senior architects, refining your technical leadership, and gaining the experience needed to potentially move into a full Architect role.

You won’t be stuck in one environment for years. You’ll work on a mix of projects—each lasting weeks or months—so there’s always something new. You’ll also have flexibility to work from home, as long as you’re delivering.

What You’ll Need:

  • Strong routing & switching (Cisco, Fortinet, HP, Dell).
  • Experience with VPNs, BGP, OSPF, and wireless networking.
  • The ability to explain solutions to clients—because you’ll be the one implementing them.

Bonus Skills:

  • SD-WAN, storage fabrics, VMware, Veeam.
  • CCNP, Fortinet, or VMware certifications.

The company is a top-tier IT project firm, trusted by enterprises and government clients. Their technical leader is obsessed with networking, so if you love talking tech, you’ll fit right in.
